Questions & answers

What does this tool actually output? #

Pick one or more platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), paste one paragraph about yourself, and get 3-5 bio variants per platform — each fitting inside the platform's hard character limit (150 for IG, 160 for Twitter, 220 for LinkedIn). You also get 3-5 one-liner taglines usable as link-in-bio captions, email signatures, or Slack statuses.

Why does the character limit matter? #

Every platform silently truncates. Instagram at 150, Twitter at 160, LinkedIn at 220. A bio that overflows is a broken bio — the end gets cut off, often mid-word. Our tool enforces the limit as a hard rule and returns the actual character count on every variant so you can eyeball fit before you paste.

Can I generate for multiple platforms in one run? #

Yes — select all three and we return a separate bio block for each, with 3-5 variants and the right formatting per platform. Instagram variants may use multi-line stacked formats; Twitter stays single-line; LinkedIn avoids emojis by default.

What vibes can I choose? #

Founder (startup/builder), professional (credible, LinkedIn-first), creative (designer/writer/maker), authoritative (teacher/thought leader), playful (lowercase, self-aware), and minimal (3-7 words, pure identity). Vibe controls emoji use, tone, and which style labels the variants use.

Will it write "passionate about" and "results-driven"? #

No. The prompt explicitly bans corporate-speak: "passionate about", "results-driven", "synergy", "ninja", "guru", "10x", "on a mission to", and "thought leader" (except as irony in playful vibe). If you see one slip through, let us know — we treat that as a bug.

Will it invent credentials? #

No. If you didn't tell us you worked at Google, the bio won't say "ex-Google". If you didn't give a metric, we don't invent one. If you didn't name your newsletter, we use what you wrote. Positioning is worthless if it's fake.

Does it handle emojis correctly per platform? #

Yes. Instagram gets 0-3 emojis per bio depending on vibe. Twitter stays at 0-2. LinkedIn defaults to 0 emojis for professional/authoritative/minimal vibes and allows 0-1 for creative/playful. No emoji pile-ups like "🔥🔥🔥" on any platform.

What's the "stacked" style for Instagram? #

Instagram bios frequently use multi-line formats separated by line breaks, pipes (|), or dots (·) — e.g. "designer | kyoto | slow coffee enthusiast | kyotoslow.com". That format is common because it reads as a list of identity tags. When we return a "stacked" variant, it uses line breaks appropriate for Instagram's mobile layout.

How is this different from typing my bio into ChatGPT? #

Three differences: (1) we enforce the actual char limit, so no bio overflows; (2) we write all three platforms in one pass instead of re-prompting; (3) the prompt has explicit platform-specific rules (IG = multi-line ok, Twitter = one line, LinkedIn = no emojis for pro vibe) that ChatGPT forgets unless you re-instruct every time.

How many free runs do I get? #

First 3 runs per day are free without signup. Free account gets 30 credits/month; each bio run costs 2 credits. Pro plans have 1,500/month.
